Pay Scale (Salary):

Selected candidates will be placed on a pay scale of Rs. 29,200/- per month (without any allowances). The probation period will be 3 years.

📝 5. Selection Process & Pattern (चयन प्रक्रिया)

• Step 1 (Punjabi Language Test): A mandatory qualifying paper equivalent to the Matriculation standard, requiring a minimum of 50% marks to qualify.
• Step 2 (Departmental Written Test): Candidates who pass the Punjabi test will take a 70-mark objective multiple-choice written exam.
• Step 3 (Sports Achievements): Maximum 30 marks will be awarded based on gradation certificates (Grade A - 30, B - 25, C - 10, D - 5).
• Step 4 (Physical Eligibility Test - PET): A qualifying test with five components (30-meter flying start, standing broad jump, shuttle run, bend and reach, 1600-meter run). Candidates must complete at least 3 out of 5 components. PwD candidates are exempted.
