- Physical Standard Test (PST) & PET: Conducted by Himachal Pradesh Police Department.
- Written Test: Offline multiple-choice objective type written examination of 2 hours duration consisting of 90 marks.
- Negative Marking: There will be negative marking of one fourth (0.25) marks for each wrong answer.
- Document Verification: Includes evaluation of NCC Certificates (up to 4 marks).
- Medical Examination: Conducted by Police Department after HPPSC recommendations.
- Desirous/eligible candidates have to apply online through official website of the Commission hppsc.hp.gov.in/hppsc.
- Click on the link "One Time Registration (OTR) for Examinations" to register and create a profile.
- Candidates are required to choose ONE DISTRICT of their choice for Physical Standard Test and Written Test. No change in the District once opted will be allowed.
- Upload all requisite documents (Matriculation certificate, +2 Certificate, Category Certificate, Bonafide Himachali, etc.) before the closing date.
