📝 5. Selection Process & Physical Standards (चयन प्रक्रिया)

• Selection Mode: The Selection will be based on a Written Examination (Objective Type MCQ) followed by Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET).
• Negative Marking: 0.25 Mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in the written test.
• Physical Standard Test (PST):
  • Male: Minimum Height: 5'-6" | Minimum Chest: 32" (Unexpanded) – 33.5" (Expanded).
  • Female: Minimum Height: 5'-2" | Must be physically fit.
• Physical Endurance Test (PET):
  • Male: 1600 meters Long Race in 6½ minutes AND 20 Push-ups.
  • Female: 1000 meters Long Race in 6½ minutes AND Shot Put (4 Kg) up to 14½ feet in three attempts.
  • Note: PET is qualifying in nature. Adjustments in PET apply for older age groups (Ex-Servicemen).
