Selection Process for RRB CEN 03/2026
- Stage 1: Single Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) - 120 Minutes, 100 Questions (Negative marking of 1/3rd marks for wrong answers).
- Stage 2: Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) - Only for candidates shortlisted from CBT (8 times the vacancies).
- Stage 3: Document Verification (DV) - Combined merit of CBT (70% weightage) & CBAT (30% weightage).
- Stage 4: Medical Examination (ME).
How to Apply for RRB Section Controller Recruitment 2026
- Candidates must visit the official RRB application portal (rrbapply.gov.in) between 15/07/2026 and 14/08/2026.
- New users must click on "Create an Account". Those who have already created an account in 2024/2025/2026 can log in using their credentials.
- Authentication via DigiLocker or Aadhaar is highly recommended for faster verification.
- Upload a Live Photo of yourself through a webcam or mobile camera during the application process. No pre-existing photo needs to be uploaded.
- Upload a scanned copy of your Signature (running handwriting, 30 KB to 49 KB) and SC/ST Certificate (if claiming a free travel pass).
- Pay the examination fee online. Without fee payment, the application will be summarily rejected.
- Take a printout of the final submitted application form for Document Verification.
