- Assistant Registrar: Maximum 40 Years
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST - 5 Years, OBC (NCL) - 3 Years, PwD & Ex-Servicemen - As per Govt. rules. (Regular employees of IITs who are educationally qualified get relaxation up to 50 years. Contractual/Outsourced employees of IIT Mandi with minimum 3 years of service also get relaxation up to 50 years).

- Screening: The Institute reserves the right to screen and shortlist applications on the basis of higher than minimum eligibility criteria.
- Written / Trade Test: The Institute may conduct written/trade tests for shortlisted candidates as deemed necessary.
- Computer Knowledge: Candidates must possess computer knowledge, including open-source software (Open Office), and fluency in English.
- Candidates are required to apply online through the official Samarth portal iitmandint.samarth.edu.in on or before 28 August 2026.
- Ensure you possess the required educational qualifications, valid category certificates (OBC-NCL/EWS must be issued on or after 1st April 2026), and experience certificates on the organization's letterhead.
- Upload scanned copies of all necessary documents (Age proof, Degree, Experience, Pay details, Category certificate, etc.).
- Pay the application processing fee online based on your category.
- Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit a separate application and fee for each post.
